The scientists launched the test mattress at an intercontinental workshop July 12-13.
“We wanted to set up a shared neighborhood eyesight and brainstorm about what would be achievable and what would be most handy in a space networking infrastructure,” said CCI researcher Jonathan Black, professor of aerospace engineering.
