Seventy years just before its Disneyfication, “The Sleeping Beauty” was tailored as a ballet composed by Peter Tchaikovsky in 1889, and is the second of his a few ballets (the other two are “The Nutcracker” and “Swan Lake”). Boca Ballet Theatre dusts off this tale of Princess Aurora and her Prince Désiré with fantastic panache and skilled staging by the company’s co-inventive director, Dan Guin. Enjoy the demonstrate!
